That's interesting, as I use Adblock as well, however I'm using Adblock-Plus (0.5.11.1), as the original adblock (that you referenced above) is no longer maintained. FWIW, I'm also using Greasemonkey (although not explicitly on apple's website), tabbrowser extensions and session saver. Admittedly, i've run into some other problems (unrelated to mplayerplug-in) where different extensions didn't get along well together.
