Peter, Here is the problem. 1. For sites that have video, mplayer needs to redraw the window. 2. For sites that are audio only, the plugin needs to redraw the window. I guess I need to look in the output of mplayer for "no video" and if I find it then it is ok to redraw. Otherwise I need to disable the redraw function. Moving the browser window with the video in it will cause the video to come back.
