I am running this on an Freescale 8280 (PowerPC 603e type CPU) running at 450MHz. When I start, it takes about 4-5% CPU. If I leave it running for about 5 minutes, it is up to 10-15%, and seems to go up about 1-2% a minute. One time I left it running for about 50 minutes, and it was using 95% of the cpu. So a 'CPU' leak (instead of a memory leak). By putting in sime timing code, I determoned that the time was spent in mpg123_decode. I have not put timing at anything lower yet. If I leave the rate at 44100, the application uses 7% CPU no matter how long it runs. > -----Original Message----- > From: Thomas Orgis [mailto:tho...@or...] > Sent: Monday, September 14, 2009 4:09 PM > To: mpg...@li... > Subject: Re: [mpg123-users] Increasing CPU usage in > mpg123_decode with rate conversion. > > Am Mon, 14 Sep 2009 12:07:00 -0500 > schrieb "Rune Torgersen" <ru...@in...>: > > > With rate conversion, my testapp starts to spend > progressively more time > > in the mpg123_decode function. > > Please describe "progressively".
