After adjusting the set volume level on various mp3 songs, do they go back to the file they came from?
In other word's, if you pull a mp3 song from any SAVED folder on your computer, once you change the level of volume does it go back were it came from. I have a lot of songs i would like to adjust the volume to re-burn on cd and play in my car sterio player. Hope some one can help me. Thanks Glen.

Yes.
MP3Gain directly modifies the files in place. So when you use "Track Gain" or "Album Gain" to change the volume of an mp3 file, the original file is modified. There is not a separate "Save" step or "Modify Original" or anything like that.
