#105 PartitionMorpher for use with Qemu
It would be cool if PartitionMorpher
[http://am.xs4all.nl/phpwiki/index.php/PartitionMorpher]
could be used to manage the partitions on disk image
files. Ideally you would only need permission to read
and write to the file in question. This would allow
disk images used with Qemu
[http://am.xs4all.nl/phpwiki/index.php/Qemu] to be
manipulated with PartitionMorpher without needing to
boot a virtual Morphix system. Interestingly in this
case it would make sense to be able to resize the disk
itself!
A further enhancement would be to add on a simple UI
for dd that is used to extract the disk image or
individual partition images to a file and save the user
from manually calculating offsets. There could also be
an import facility to allow the inverse functionality.
Finally the user might as well be able to use
PartitionMorpher to create an empty (sparse?) disk
image file in the first place.
