How to count the number of matches from a file (like @pmFromFile but with counting)

Hi everyone,

Is there a way I can do something similar to @pmFromFile, but return the number of matches from the file instead of just whether there was a match?

I'm trying to block spam comments and it would be really handy to be able to do it this way, instead of writing individual rules for each "bad" keyword.

I don't believe we have such functionality currently but it would be very
helpful in the future. Would you be so kind as to open a feature request?
