Thank you. It stopped working for about a week, during which I did not have time to order a new one, then it started working again, just fine. But I don't trust it, so I ordered a new one this week and replaced it. Interestingly, my new one (a 2486DWH8 V5.3) reports an existing devcat, but your old email allowed me to verify the support for it was in there. 08/07/10 05:55:23 PM [Insteon_Device] link table for $picture (devcat: 0109): -W On 7/14/2010 9:00 AM, carl mcgrath wrote: > see my posting from 02/12/2010 , user name cjm5035. > I had to patch the KeyPadLink perl to accommodate the new devcat that > appeared with 2486DWH8, with a new unit that is > labeled Ver 5.2 FW. > > The new KPL worked fine after the patch was added. > > On 7/14/2010 9:53 AM, Marc MERLIN wrote: > >> On Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 02:28:42AM -0500, w20...@wo... wrote: >> >> >>> My KeypadLinc died and I need to order a new one. >>> >>> I seem to recall people posting that there are problems getting these >>> with the newer firmware to work with the MH mainline code?
