I think the serial speed is much higher than the powerline speed and I doubt the serial speed is your problem. I suppose you could try changing it but I doubt that'll make a difference. I did however just move my PLM closer to the main panel outside and I should relocate an AP to be right next to it so that I have both phases right next to it (moving the PLM is easy for me, I just use my cat-5 wiring in the house and send the serial port over cat-5 back to where my computer actually is) Marc -- "A mouse is a device used to point at the xterm you want to type in" - A.S.R.
