I also don't know about the Cisco phones, but with Asterisk and my Aastra=20 9133i phones, there is an intercom mode. When I prefix the extension numbe= r=20 with *80 (i.e., *808011, where 8011 is the extension), the phone auto answe= rs=20 into speaker phone. I use it all the time between the kitchen and the=20 basement. I even have an IVR for my cell phones that can intercom the=20 basement or kitchen from the cell phones. I just tried it with a cheap Soyo IP speakerphone and it does not work, so = I=20 think it is a function on the phone to handle intercom mode. Troy |
