I suspect you've already tried this, but I'll suggest it anyway - if you have a Windows box, hook up the Netcallerid to it, run Hyperterminal, set the comm parameters and see if the data coming out of the Netcallerid box is valid, and stays that way for a number of calls. Doing this would allow you to isolate the problem to the callerid box or the app. If you don't have a Windows box, there's usually a terminal program installed on most of the linux distros. You could do the same thing with it. Gary |
