With the SDM running on a PC, you can open up your browser of choice and go to http://ipaddress:9020/index.txt?help and the service will return in the browser a complete list of cammand that the SDM will accept - everything from sending commands/requesting status, to configuring timers, setting LAT/LON etc. You can try this even if you don't have insteon devices by downloading the SDM and installing it. >> >> The output of ~index.txt?help is shown below. Sorry about the lack of carriage returns - that's how it shows up in the browser - It shows correctly inside the SDM's log window however. >> >> Hope this clears up some stuff. >> >> > I am having some difficulty trying to get the SDM to see the PLC on COM1 > in my wine session. Obviously I need to learn my way around wine better. Anyway, now that I can make my Insteon devices respond using direct insteon commands, (so cool-and fast) I am wondering how any of you have integrated this functionality into your misterhouse setup. For instance, is anybody working on a module that would allow us to create Insteon items in the mht file, and then some sort of copy of however the X10 magic happens, but outputting the http command instead of sending an X10 string out the CM11? -Dave Stenhouse |
