Hey Joel... Thanks so much for the QUICK reply! The Global Cache stuff looks very interesting because it hooks to the network, and doesn't need a direct serial / USB interface to the host. (see http://www.globalcache.com/products/gc-index.html) I know how to program in a variety of languages (including MUMPS - I think I'm the only one that remembers that system) but I'm not up to writing a driver myself. I think. Maybe some others will look at this globalcache thing and find it intriguing. In the meantime, I'll look into what it would take to route the USB-UIRT over to my components. I've another question about your setup, Joel: I see alot of support information for the Sony 7700 DVD/CD changer. Are the lower cost Sony (or whatever) CD changers also able to be driven by MH?
