[mh] Any quick advice on building a light sensor?

I want to build a light sensor that I can read through my Weeder digitial
I/O card (reads inputs of 0V or 5V with a pull-up resistor to 5V on the
input).  I would be mounting it inside my garage door opener light
compartment to detect if the light is on/off.  Anybody have any quick
pointers to a circuit and/or a good place to buy a photoresistor online?  I
have basic EE knowledge but am by no means an expert.
