Hi Tom, Quoting Tom Ski (3/13/06 10:16 PM): > Can anyone provide me with some help or suggestions regarding how to connect > and use MH with the Asterisk@Home program? In case you haven't looked, there are numerous examples in code/public beginning w/ asterisk. The integration that seems most prevalent is CID via AGI calls w/i the asterisk dial-plan. While that seems ok for non-state sensitive integration, it wasn't sufficient for my needs. As a result, I created an xAP daemon called axc (asterisk xAP connector). It isn't intrusive to the asterisk dial-plan because it runs independent of asterisk and connects via the TCP manager interface. I should acknowledge Jason S. as his original xap-info daemon gave me the idea to create axc. axc provides CID, on-/off- hook "like" info, outbound call info, and voicemail read/total counts. axc performs call state tracking and therefore provides information that ties the history of call events (to include call duration). For the time being, axc can be found at http://limings.net/xap/axc. Separately, you can also find the collection of user code and patched mh libraries that I use at the same location. The latter will eventually go away once I submit those patches. Unfortunately, there is no step-wise instructions or documentation; but, my mh user code is heavily documented and the axc.conf and README should be sufficient to get you started if you decide to pursue this route. I'll be happy to answer any questions that you might have. Gregg |
