I am using XML TV for the UK, but my code is customised and very messy - over the years I have been through various sources of data prior to = using XML TV, and each time I have carried on from where I was before, so = there is obsolete code cluttering up the program. I fetch the XML, amend it a bit, put it into tv_programs.dbm and then = search the db using my own version of get_tv_info. There are better ways of = doing it, but I have not got round to doing anything about it. =20 If you want to take this further I suggest that you contact me off list = at sc...@fi..... Subject: [mh] XMLTV The TV scheduling tools that come with MH are specific to the US - and, = it seems, Germany. Has anyone looked into using the XMLTV (http://membled.com/work/apps/xmltv/) library of tools to grab and = handle the listings? That way we could let MH concentrate on the presentation = and scheduling and leave the grabbing and parsing up to XMLTV. I'm hoping that someone has written something that allows Misterhouse to interact with the XML file that the tv_grab_xx tool creates. FWIW xx is = "au" for me. Any tips or pointers - or working code - would be appreciated.
