Hi, I tracked down my problem, but can't explain why I fixed it. (p.s. I found &html_header in http_server.pm) This code doesn't work, basically $html_calls appears to be empty when the string is expanded: my $html = "<html> <head> <style> TR.wvtrow {font-family:Arial; font-size:11; color:#000000} TR.wvtheader {font-family:Tahoma; font-size:11; color:#101010} </style> </head> <body>\n" . &html_header('Voicemail Messages') . $html_calls . " </body> "; This code works just fine: my $html = "<html> <head> <style> TR.wvtrow {font-family:Arial; font-size:11; color:#000000} TR.wvtheader {font-family:Tahoma; font-size:11; color:#101010} </style> </head> <body>\n" . &html_header('Voicemail Messages'); $html .= $html_calls . " </body> "; Any ideas why I had to break up the $html string into two statements to make it work? BTW, the "broken" code works fine when I call it as a .pl file in my web/bin dir, but does not work as a web_func. Weird! Thanks, David Satterfield --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
