My thought as a simple start would be just to expose methods like speak, run_voice_cmd, set value, get value, etc. just so that we could get some basic interaction with a minimum amount of work. This would allow essentially the same level of interaction that you could have with as with the web-client. Quite simple, yet I think it would provide enough functionality to do most that is necessary. That would settle the calls into MH, but what about calls from MH? Event based triggers type of thing? I'm looking into something like this for one of my personal little learning projects. Would we want to be able to set MH up to notify another system whenever an object/state is modified.
