Is anyone using internet connect check? I tried it before with no problem. Recently reactivated it and have had a solid connection for about a week. Then today it reported several outages of between five minutes and just over an hour. This evening the connection was down for over 3 hours 51 minutes and when it came back up ( after midnight) mh started announcing the "back up" every two minutes. It did not put up the popup tk window message at this time, but then I got a tk window with " Multiple eval errors in internet_connect_check. Code was disabled". however it didn't disable itself. The error log contained this" Wednesday, 26/11/03 12:32 AM: Error found in user code file: ./../data/mh_temp.user_code 26/11/03 12:32:00 AM: Failed to AUTOLOAD 'Tk::Widget::insert' at PERL2EXE_STORAGE/Tk/Derived.pm line 420 " I won't be able to test a long outage for a few days but in the meantime wondered if anyone had had a similar problem. Running version 2.81 on win 2k, 1.5 GHz processor. Anyway it's going to be fun berating the Network Operations about why it took 4 hours to bring the servers back online in peak time. Without mh to tell me about the dodgy operation I would have been messing around resetting things all evening. baz |
