Not sure on the MH side (I'm still pretty new to the group!) but could you setup an external shell script to launch "aplay" with the correct args? ie: edit <mh home>/bin/launch_aplay to include: ---SNIP--- #!/bin/bash aplay -c 1 $* ---SNIP--- Then, make it executable: $ chmod 755 <mh home>/mh/bin/launch_aplay ...and setup MH thusly: sound_program=launch_aplay - Clint |
