0.4.0-beta4 appears to have changed the way it compiles ActionScript internally: Please do not use compileSWFActionCode() anymore Use newSWFAction(script) instead Unfortunately perl_ext (and, afaict, php_ext) don't yet reflect this, which makes it kind of hard to use any ActionScript. I've only needed to recompile because my movie needs to be output in SWF format 8, which 0.3.0 doesn't let you output (as default). Could I make a plea that the "version > 7/8/whatever" check be removed completely? I don't see any reason for it to be there - if the user wants to write a version 9 SWF because Adobe has introduced some weird and wacky new stuff into ActionScript, let them. If this sounds like a whinge - sorry - Ming's still great and I'm having fun with it. :) cheers Richard |
