Two easy ways are to use imagemagick or gimp, but that requires installation. Instead you may open the .bmp in whatever viewer and use print. Select a PS printer driver, and set its postscript options under properties|layout to optimize for portability and language level 1. Select print to file and give your file a name ending by .ps. The result is a ADSC conforming one-page PS-file. Open this in gsview and use File|PS to EPS to obtain an eps file. (In Gsview you should take a look at File|Show messages whcih will indicate any problems that may occur.) Finally, you should be able to include this eps in a document. However, try the conversion to pdf first to tell if this has been of any help at all. Make sure that the logo inclusion in prosper does not scale the logo.
