It said epic.sty is also required, so I installed both. However, it rather "underlays" the text under the PS file on my machine: The grid in the example file opic-abs.tex is visible only on the sides where it exceeds the size of the picture, the text (\LaTeX) is completely invisible under the picture. I can't find any compile error or anything suspicious in the log file at all, MikTex seems convinced it does the right thing. EPS files seem to be properly overlayed over other eps pictures. So my best bet may be to save my text as little EPS pictures and import them, and maybe replace them with psfrag if necessary. I'll have another look at the package source code (overpic, watermark), but I am afraid my TeX knowledge is close to hopeless. So any ideas will be appreciated: How do you print LaTeX text ON TOP of included gfraphics, without having to re-engineer the EPS file first (as with psfrag)? Anyhow, many thanks to Francis and to Arnout for their suggestions! Armin |
