1. In Windows: Enable the cyrillic keyboard (control panel|keyboard).

2. Open WinEdt: Switch to the cyrillic keyboard via the Windows 
system tray. In WinEdt's Options|Fonts select a cyrillic font of your 
choice. Take care that any translations in 
Options|Settings|Translations are switched off.
