Hello! In my bibtex file I have the following entry (the mysterious characters in the note field are Russian name of the book referenced): @BOOK{OrlovPolunovShchetinov1994, author =3D "A. S. Orlov and A. Iu. Polunov and Iu. A. Shchetinov", TITLE =3D "Posobie po istorii Otechestva dla postupaiushikh v VUZy", PUBLISHER =3D "Prostor", YEAR =3D "1997", note =3D "(Textbook on the history of motherland for prospective students of higher education facilities, Russian title: =C0. =D1. = =CE=F0=EB=EE=E2, =C0. =DE. =CF=EE=EB=F3=ED=EE=E2, =DE. =C0. =D9=E5=F2=E8=ED=EE=E2; = =CF=EE=F1=EE=E1=E8=E5 =EF=EE =E8=F1=F2=EE=F0=E8=E8 = =CE=F2=E5=F7=E5=F1=F2=E2=E0 =E4=EB=FF =EF=EE=F1=F2=F3=EF=E0=FE=F9=E8=F5 =E2 =C2=D3=C7=FB, = =CF=F0=EE=F1=F2=EE=F0)", address =3D "Moscow", isbn =3D "5-900451-05-4", } If in the text of my document I write the citation like Russia gained access to the Baltic Sea as well as some territories in that region (\cite[pp. 118--121]{OrlovPolunovShchetinov1994}). then in the PDF document, the following text appears Russia gained access to the Baltic Sea as well as some territories in that region ([Orlov et al.(1997)Orlov, Polunov, and Shchetinov, pp. 118=15121]). Instead of creating a reference "Orlov et al (1997)", "Orlov et al.(1997)Orlov, Polunov, and Shchetinov, pp. 118=15121" is created. I suppose that I have an error in the above BibTeX entry, but I do not know which. How can I bring BibTeX to create the proper (Orlov et al (1997)) citation? Thanks Dimitri Pissarenko |
