I would need to disallow cross references to appear as full entries as in the following example S. Agarwal, R. Agrawal, P. Deshpande, A. Gupta, J.F. Naughton, R. Ra- makrishnan, and S. Sarawagi. On the computation of multidimensional aggregates. In Vijayaraman et al. [233], pages 506-521. and instead entries should inherit their fields from their parent entry S. Agarwal, R. Agrawal, P. Deshpande, A. Gupta, J.F. Naughton, R. Ra- makrishnan, and S. Sarawagi. On the computation of multidimensional aggregates. In Proceedings of the 22nd International Conference on Very Large Data Bases, VLDB’96, ed. by T.M. Vijayaraman, A.P. Buchmann, C. Mohan, N.L. Sarda (Morgan Kaufmann, San Francisco, 1996), pages 506-521. According to this document http://ctan.sharelatex.com/tex-archive/biblio/bibtex/contrib/doc/btxFAQ.pdf this can be obtained by setting the --min-crossrefs option to a high value as in bibtex --min-crossrefs=9000 myfile However this does not change anything and the cross references still appear on their own :-( Any way to avoid this behaviour ?
