The message suggests a corrupted download to me. But it also crossed my mind that you may be able to add the Windows architecture to the MacTeX installation, share the MacTeX directory with the Windows virtual machine, and use WinEdt with this shared MacTeX. Adding Windows binaries would require a command such as `tlmgr platform add win32' issued from a terminal window. But you might want to first ask advise about this on the MacTeX list. -- Siep Kroonenberg |
