Didn't you check the archive? > > -- > Ulrike Fischer > http://www.troubleshooting-tex.de/ > > I've just seen this message : http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=31104115 However, even after I've re-built the format (lualatex only, not luatex), I still have the same message. 15h 30 Finally, I found out what happened on my system: While rebuilding the xelatex worked fine, for lualatex, the new format did not appear in my personal directory: "C:\Users\Bernard\AppData\Local\MiKTeX\2.9\miktex\data\le\luatex\lualatex.fmt" but only in "C:\ProgramData\MiKTeX\2.9\miktex\data\le\luatex" So the compiler used the 08/2012 version of the format. Making a copy of the newformat and putting it by hand in my personal directory solved the problem. Yet I don't understand why this happens with lualatex only, not with xelatex nor (pdf)latex.
