Hello all, I'm baffled. Recently, I had to upgrade my computer from Win XP/MikTeX 2.8 to Win 7, and I installed MikTeX 2.9 during the process. I keep my MikTeX installation in c:\texmf and my local files in c:\localtexmf. On my old system, I had MinionPro and MyriadPro installed in localtexmf (using the otf files from Adobe reader). Everything worked. Now, after the switch to Win 7 and MikTeX 2.9, I copied my localtexmf folder over, added it to the MikTeX roots, refreshed the FNDB, added MinionPro.map using initexmf --edit-config-file updmap, and the resulting file looks like: %% T1 font configuration settings. See the MiKTeX manual for help. Map MinioPro.map Map MyriadPro.map Refreshed the FNDB again, used updmap, and initexmf --mkmaps, but to no avail: when I compile a document with Minion, I always get: !pdfTeX error: pdflatex (file MinionPro-Bold-Base-ab): Font MinionPro-Bold-Base -ab at 545 not found ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced! Interestingly, MyriadPro works fine. I don't know what to do, I've even retraced all the steps from the MinionPro README; all files are in the appropriate places, at least as far as I can tell. I'd appreciate any hints, although I have a sneaking suspicion that it's something stupid that I'm missing here ... Thanks and Cheers Markus |
