My way to produce pdf-files from metapost: 1. you need a full functioning MIKTEX 2. download the newest cont-mpd.zip from PRAGMA-CONTEXT 3. extract the files in the corresponding directories 4. go to Miktex->Settings->Formats and enable the key: mptopdf by pushing the button "Change" and and activate the format, press ok. 5. rebuild all formats and the database. That's what you have to do with MIKTEX. Now it depends on the editor you are working with. Configure it with a batch-file with the following content: @ECHO OFF C:\your-path-to-miktex\scripts\context\perl\mptopdf.pl --rawmp %1 pause where %1 is your mp-file you need to process, let's say squares.mp. You get squares-1.pdf, squares-2.pdf ..., all the figures contained by the file squares.mp. I hope it helps. Regards, Peter. |
