[MiKTeX] pdflatex.exe reports error: "GUI framework cannot be initialized"

Dear all,

I'm running Miktex 2.8 and Texniccenter 1.0 stable RC1. When executed  
within the Texniccenter environment, pdflatex.exe reports the error "GUI  
framework cannot be initialized".

I already found the bug report saying that this error has something to do  
with installing missing packages on the fly or not. I already set this  
option to "yes" - but the error still persists. All I can say is that it  
indeed has something to do with missing packages: when I manually install  
all packages needed for my tex-file, then Texniccenter compiles my  
tex-file smoothly without any error message.

However, since I would like to solve this problem: Does anybody experience  
the same? Any solutions?
