Hi, I'm in need for a complete installation of MikTex on a Windows XP environment, because of difficulties with the dynamic downloading of missing elements and/or language files. In this particular environments, the network connections supposedly doesn't support that kind of connection. Hence the "mpm ... --import-all " isn't helpful, too. In fact, there should be a way to install LyX/MikTeX on machines without any internet connection, e.g. a notebook, but I could not find an installer suitable for that. The setups listed on http://miktex.org/2.7/setup only a 82 MB installer with download option, and a 3 MB installer that downloas all. Has anybody any idea how to manage this? Thanks in advance Chris |
