I'm trying to get author-year citations (which I generally do with natbib) into a presentation (which I generally do with beamer). The two don't seem to mix, producing an error claiming that \newblock isn't defined. I've found a few old newsgroup and mailing list posts about this, all from a few years ago, which suggest that the two just don't play nicely together; does anyone know differently? If not, can anyone recommend another author-year package, preferably one that won't require much learning curve, and it would be especially nice if it worked with the natbib bibstyles, as I hacked one of those to do nice stuff with beamer (and no, that hack isn't the source of my problems). Thanks, Sam |
