Thanks for this tip. I didn't know pslatex was obsolete as I don't have much time to be on comp.tex. This bit was there because it was supposed to work, giving access to PS fonts in dvi mode (I would load times sometimes in pdf mode). I must say I don't change fonts that much so ...
