Actually my tex file is very simple and small. I'm using one of the sample codes in the design and analysis of algorithms book, to see how it works. (I have added the first two lines to use the clrscode package) This is what I have: \documentclass \usepackage{clrscode} \begin{codebox} \Procname{$\proc{Bubblesort}(A)$} \li \For $i \gets 1$ to $\id{length}[A]$ \li \Do \For $j\gets \id{length}[A]$ \Downto $i+1$ \li \Do \If $A[j] < A[j-1]$ \li \Then $A[j] \leftrightarrow A[j-1]$ \end{codebox} The clrscode Package for LaTeX2e: http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/%7Ethc/clrscode/ and I get this message: This is e-TeX, Version 3.141592-2.2 (MiKTeX 2.4) entering extended mode (sort.tex LaTeX2e <2003/12/01> Babel <v3.8a> and hyphenation patterns for english, french, german, ngerman, du mylang, nohyphenation, loaded. ! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [input stack size=1500]. \reserved@a ...ons \usepackage [][]\@clsextension \@documentclasshook l.2 \usepackage{ clrscode} No pages of output.
