No results. Well, it should, of course, be found if it's in the same folder as the document. So, you must be doing something else wrong: like misspelling t= he filename or adding the extension .sty in the \usepackage command - look carefully at the error message. Anyway if you have file called mystyle.sty, the following is the correct form: \usepackage{mystyle} Apart from that Dario and Jay already gave the correct advice. I might just add that all of this can be done rather easily using the MiK= TeX Options Wizard. Moreover, I have other local texmf trees so that a) I can also wipe out localtexmf in case of problems without detroying my aded files and b) I c= an keep my own personal stuff separate from other non-MiKTeX stuff downloade= d =66rom CTAN.
