Hi Morrell, thanks for the advice, I will check it out and see how goes. In the mean time I found that one can use simple spacing in the footnotes, albeit using other spacing in the text. So there is more physical space available for footnotes. One just has to use \usepackage{setspace} in the settings. Best regards, Fabio Weiss --- "Morrell S.
