Hi, There is a requirement to freeze headers and have only vertical scroll bar in the bulkentry page. To do that, we have put the headers in a different table tag and the data in different table tag wrapped with a div tag as below. <table border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0"> <tr class="fontnormalbold"> -------- -------- <td align="left">SM</td> </tr> </table> <div id="tableDiv" style="border:0px; height:300px; width:900; overflow-x:hidden; overflow:auto;"> <table border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0"> ------------------ ---------------- </table> </div> The div tag <div id="tableDiv" style="border:0px; height:300px; width:900; overflow-x:hidden; overflow:auto;"> displays the vertical scroll bar and hides the horizontal scroll bar. Hiding of horizontal scroll bar becomes possible with the style attribute overflow-x. The logic above<<overflow-x:hidden; overflow:auto>> works in IE but fails to work in Firefox because the style attribute overflow-x is defined only by IE and not by firefox. Hence the current implementation for the same will be applicable only on IE. We are looking at finding the solution for the same on firefox. Regards, Krishan |
