Hi everyone, I've been trying to get fbdev/DRI working as explained on http://www.mesa3d.org/fbdev-dri.html, but have run into some problems. I'm using a fresh install of Fedora Core 4 (2.6.11 kernel) with a Radeon 9200 AGP. I've followed the instructions on the above page and compiled both drm and Mesa (linux-solo) from the latest cvs versions. This all went (relatively) smoothly and so I installed the proper modules and then ran sample_server, followed by miniglxtest. The problem is that the only function that seems to be having any effect is glClear - it clears the right section of the console to the color specified by glClearColor, but then any geometry glBegin/glEnd calls don't seem to do anything. I've run a simple app with the GL code on my Windows machine and I get a rotating quad just as I should, so the code is sound - it's just not doing what it should in the fbdev/DRI environment. There are no errors in any logs I've checked (not even any glGetError()s), so I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do next. I would have expected either everything to work, or nothing! Does anyone have experience with this sort of problem? I'd appreciate any pointers or suggestions as to what the problem might be.
