[Mesa3d-dev] Selecting bit depth for OSMesa

Hi all,

Looking at osmesa-16, I noticed another target, osmesa-32. I was 
wondering how hard it could be to have OSMesa's bits per channel 
determined by the application, so that it could chose between 8, 16 or 
32 bits per channel. For instance (without having looked at much of this 
for a while), how about being able to specify the bits per channel as a 
parameter of OSMesaCreateContext?

I guess some macros would have to be rewritten as conditionals, but is 
there more to it than that?

Oh, and while I'm at it, would it be at all possible to modify osmesa so 
that it could use float channels? Or are there assumptions elsewhere 
which would prevent this from being done?
