Bugs item #1066038, was opened at 2004-11-13 23:23 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by brianp You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100003&aid=1066038&group_id=3 Category: mesa-core Group: Rendering Error >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Dormouse1182 (dormouse1182) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: unexpected texture format in radeonChooseTextureFormat Initial Comment: Attempting to run Knights of the Old Republic with Point2Play. I have the most recent versions of point2play and cedega installed, and all the system tests pass properly [eg 3d accelleration]. Running a radeon 7200: OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Radeon 20030328 AGP 4x x86 TCL Even under windows this game works playably. However, using the same install directory and most recent kotor version and all, hitting Game in the launcher only shows a black screen which never goes anywhere or does anything until i stop running games. It seems to have an issue here, as reported in the status window: X Error of failed request: GLXBadRenderRequest Major opcode of failed request: 142 (GLX) Minor opcode of failed request: 1 (X_GLXRender) Serial number of failed request: 392 Current serial number in output stream: 393 And when running manually via cedega it reports at the top: Mesa implementation error: unexpected texture format in radeonChooseTextureFormat Please report to the Mesa bug database at www.mesa3d.org wine: texstore.c:2260: _mesa_store_compressed_teximage2d: Assertion `texImage->TexFormat' failed. Any insight into this would be most appreciated. As it stands kotor is the only thing that keeps me booting into windows. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Brian Paul (brianp) Date: 2004-11-29 10:24 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=983 This was fixed a while ago in CVS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100003&aid=1066038&group_id=3 |
