If you encode in very huge resolutions like 3200x1800 (gives best quality result at youtube) mkvmerge 32bit sometimes cant mux such a video.
The 64bit version can do it though. I today had again such a video where 32bit mkvmerge failed with memory problem and the 64bit version got it muxed.
Hi this would be a great feature.please add it.
You can do this yourself.
Download the 64bit portable version of MKVtoolnix from here (http://www.fosshub.com/MKVToolNix.html).
Backup and delete all the files in ..\MEGUI\tools\mkvmerge folder.
Extract the 64bit MKVtoolnix archive and copy all the files in to your ..\MEGUI\tools\mkvmerge folder.
I have done about 10 OCE encodes with the 64bit MKVtoolnix and it works fine.
Sure I can do it myself everytime MeGUI updates mkvmerge. But honestly: This isnt comfortable at all and it doesnt make much sense to use the muxer in 32bit version. I dont see any disadvantage of the 64bit version.
Also: MeGUI's own GUI should at least offer to append files. For that simple task I already have to use MKVToolnixGUI directly.
