plot2d (sin(x), [x, 0, 2*%pi], [psfile, concat (maxima_tempdir, "/sin.eps")])$ causes an error indicating psfile is not an known option.

    It looks like commit 0ccd41f2 changed the name of psfile to ps_file.

    I updated rtest_plot.mac to reflect the change of psfile->ps_file.
