Use linspace if you know how many values you want: In [4]: linspace(0.5,1.0,num=5,endpoint=False) Out[4]: array([ 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9]) In [5]: linspace(0.5,1.1,num=6,endpoint=False) Out[5]: array([ 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1. ]) -- Jouni K.
