Wxpython comes preinstalled on 10.4 as does Tkinter. I am pretty sure that the eggs that Chris has posted in addition to mine link against those. You would probably need a custom build for darwinports to play nice. I can't test any of this, so I may not be much more help. Also, I have never tried gtkagg on osx since there is no native gtk2 toolkit.
