Two features from the commercial version were added: measurement and reporting of ticket close times and also a basic export of reports to Excel. A spam marking system has been added. Several bug fixes and minor improvements. Please keep the comments & bug reports coming! |

We're pleased to announce the release of version 0.94. Plenty of bug fixes and it's now possible to edit the fields displayed on the Ticket page. We've also been in touch with the consultants who produced the user interface for us to get some work down on a Spam processing interface. We'll aim to get this into the next version. We took it out because we were trying to ensure that the product was usable on smaller monitors. If you select from the 'User' drop down menu you can go through each user and see what tickets they have although I appreciate that's not quite the same. I just wanted to check that my setup is correct. I have set up MM as a test system using Xcron to get the emails from a test account. Due to the fact that we have several products I have set the initial assignment to a group and selected to have an email sent when new tickets arrive. Problem is that: . Tickets are listed with a status of Open not New . Tickets appear to be assigned to the logged in user . No emails are sent to the group when the new tickets arrive . The ticket list doesn't show who has been assigned (or accepted) the ticket Is this correct? Version 0.93 is released. There's some quite big improvements to the filters, attachment handling and the help button is now context sensitive. There have been many bug fixes. We're still advising against deploying MailManager in a production environment prior to 1.0 but if we manage to keep up the pace of releases we expect this to by September. Once we hit 1.0 we will slow the releases down to once every couple of months but you'll still be able to get the latest developments from the CVS. We're pleased to announce 0.92 has been released. Again this is entirely bug fixing based on user feedback and some testing here. The gap between the commercial version of MailManager and the open source version is now almost closed. I think all that's missing is the Excel export for reports. The reliability is getting there, we're not planning on adding new features before 1.0 just keeping up the bug fixes. Andrew |
