I'd like to see better integration with Plone for the
users seeing their ticket history section.
For example a user can login to the plone site, and as
part of a "Control Panel" have a link that would
auto-log him in to see his mailmanager tickets and file
new ones.
To make the tickets searchable (some of them at least,
could classify some as searchable, others as private,
or each user can only search their own) would also be
useful.
My company, Zettai.net, is very interested in this
feature and we are interested in funding it.
Let me know what you think.

This is a really interesting idea - I think if we were designing
MailManager again we would make use of the CMF for things like
user registration, content types (Dublin Core), skins and workflow.
Of course this would make it integrate with CMF based products
like Plone.
This would be a fairly major re-design. It could also be integrated
in a more simple way by just looking at sharing a acl_users and
changing the tickets so that they can go into the Plone catalog.
We should look at exactly what features are required and I can
then put together a proposal. I'm happy to discuss the features
here but for agreeing the financial side we should do that by email
- I'm andrew@logicalprogression.net.
It's great to have some interest in funding MailManager
development.
