Hi, thanks Vishal, that is exactly what I need. Do you know the function in madwifi driver that update these variables? The contents of /proc/net/madwifi/ath0/associated_sta only show the associated stations and I want to see the not connected stations too (with the device mac address). Do you know a simple way to do this? Other question, do you know if I can see the interface's nickname when I do a scan? This could simplify the scan result because each adhoc interface in my network has a nickname (configured by iwconfig).
