Something is very odd with your setup? Do you live/work in a WIFI-crowed area? Because the "invalid nwid:" count is really high! Too high, for the short period! Can you please enable the monitor-mode [1] and use some _sophisticated_ tools like kismet[2] or wireshark to sniff some WLAN traffic from your surroundings... maybe there's a rogue Accesspoint that causes some _unknown_ trouble...
