Hi, We are implementing a 2.5 layer protocol using Click modular router and madwifi. We need to send the status of every transmitted frame (i.e MAC acknowlegdement) from madwifi to Click. When we look at the frame in ath_tx_capture (which is called after the transmission of every frame) we see variable sizes of 802.11 headers. The sizes are 32, 2 and 60 bytes in length. Could anyone explain why we may be getting variable size 802.11 headers? Our tests where between two nodes (one AP, the other station) with fast frames, crypto and burst mode turned off. Appreciate your help. Thanks, Gaurav --------------------------------- Get easy, one-click access to your favorites. Make Yahoo! your homepage. |
