What does: snmpwalk -v 1 -Os -c public localhost if say? you should see something like: ifDescr.X = STRING: ath0 Where X is a number. You should be able to see the network interfaces and then one of them will point to ath0 Then snmpget -v 1 -Os -c public localhost ifPhysAddress.X will return the MAC address of the madwifi card. If this doesn't work then you should google to find out how to set up snmpd correctly. Regards, Duncan |
